These original pages were printed less than 75 years from the invention of printing with moveable type. Anthony Koberger was perhaps the most important printer and publisher in the 15th century. He is said to have employed 24 presses in Nuremburg alone not to mention the work he farmed out to printers in other cities. He is perhaps best known for his book "The Nuremberg Chronicles." These pages were printed by Mr. J. Sacon of Lyons, France, one of Koberger's subcontractors.
